About us
DTL was set up in 2002. Since then, it has been an interesting and exciting journey, building relationships with new clients and growing with them. We are pleased to say that, in spite of the economic challenges of our time, we are continuing to attract a steady stream of new clients to our practice.
Our real expertise is working with the directors and shareholders of small and medium-sized limited companies. The team have, individually, spent decades working with these sorts of firms. We have experience of working with businesses at all stages of development – helping them to start up, grow and mature, before planning for their tax-efficient transfer to the next generation, or their external sale.
As a result, we can anticipate the problems facing and opportunities available to small businesses. We help our clients to avoid making many of the mistakes made by other small businesses. We feel that this gives our clients a competitive advantage over other existing and new businesses in their sector.
It is accepted that 80% of businesses fail in the first 5 years, even in a buoyant economy. We strive to ensure our clients are in the 20%, which succeed and flourish.
